The only Dale Cochoy pot in Oz?

Gday folks!

I thought I should share my newest Bonsai acquisition with y'all... I was so taken by this pot that I had to have it (even though I don't have a tree to do the pot justice). Unfortunately, Dale had already sold this one, so I commissioned him to make me one along very similar lines. I opted for Phillips head screws, as I consider flathead screws to be obsolete.

The pot measures 320 x 280 x 70mm (external). The photo isn't a true representation of the pot's colour, as it has a very subtle 'metallic' patina when views in person.

Dale tells me he made another almost exactly the same, and I'm wondering now whether I should have bought both...

Great work Mr Cochoy!!! I hope to have an award winning tree in that pot before the turn of the century.

Thanks.

Fly.

Thanks Fly.
I sure hope it gets potted before the turn of the century! At least ONE OF US will be pretty old by then!!

I hope you are enjoying the pottery book and experimenting with the Dremel-type tri-cutters.

BTW, I just did some real rustic pots with BIG rustic 'rivets', I'm trying to decide if I should finish one of them w/ 'screws' while still a bit soft.

Dale
