"Dale-pots" 'n trees

While at the Ann Arbor show this weekend I saw a few of my pots w/ trees in them. First two belong to Michigander Jack Wikle.
First is an Eastern White Cedar in an unglazed oval pot .

Here is an AABS ladies ( forget name) nice little mame in one of my small scoop land & water pots.

and, another members "kiyo hime" ( I think) Japanese maple in a green glazed "Bacon" pot. I rarely make these glazed. Usually they are unglazed.

While I'm at it.
Here's a picture recently sent me by Dr, Reggie Purdue of Florida of his potted Fukien Tea in a green glazed pot he got from me at Melbourne BSF Convention July 4th.

Lastly,
Very often at the Florida state convention I sell pots to people taking workshops and they pot up their tropical workshop trees when finished.
Here's two:
First is Justin with a freshly worked Fukien Tea ( I don't remember whose workshop it was)

Second is James H's Buttonwood fresh from Mary Madisons workshop.

I hope you enjoyed,
Regards,
Dale

I didn't know you were going to be there Dale or else I would have made the trip just to rile you up a bit.

Nice work Dale.

Dale:

Jack's elm in your pot is a great combo! That tree is fantastic alone (though I'd love to see a bit more ramification). Did he ask for the pot special, or did it just happen to work with one you had already made?

Pootsie,
Jack probably hasn't thought of more ramification

Pretty darn good if you ask me for a collected elm.
The two pots he bought last year at the show. I don't think he had either in mind at the time? But, I did make him a custom pot a few years ago.
Dale
