Cleaning mineral deposits

Hey-
A "budget bonsai" solution to this problem is a sanding sponge from the hardware store. You can get it wet and the kind I bought had two different grits (medium and fine). The sponge conformed to the shape of the pot well. Also I felt it wasn't too abrasive to be damaging. Worked like a charm.

Good luck,
PG
