denny Please Correct Your Email Address Join Date: Sep-2001 Location: SanBernardino Country: USA USDA Zone: zone 9 AHS Heat Zone: 8 9 Posts: 340	bent pots i went to a small,bearly hanging on,nursery today,and found a few bonsai supplies there.almost every pot,while reasonably priced(for a good pot),was warped or bent in some way. are these somebodies seconds ya think? __________________ Denny Still Growing in zone 9 So.Cal.

The kiln was [glow=red,2,300]CRUEL[/glow] to 'em. Some Chinese pots are fired in makeshift kilns where the heating is variable and hard to control. My guess is they slump a bit. * In any case, some people find that interesting. If the feet aren't quite level you could shim them underneath so they sit flat.
