Young juniper and amur maple suggestions or comments ...

Hey everybody. I'm new to this bonsai forum, but thought it would be neat to see what other people were doing with their bonsai and to maybe get some suggestions or comments about my bonsai.

I gained an interest in growing bonsai about four years ago and immediately found as much information as I could through various sources (books, internet, etc.) and gobbled it up. I purchased a juniper (juniperus procumbens nana) and an amur maple, both of which were very small when I bought them, so I could start training them and begin the process of learning how to bonsai.

Now four years later, here I am; my two bonsai have been growing for about four and a half years and have been trained that long as well. However, I'm rather novice at the art of bonsai and was wondering if any of you reading this had any comments or suggestions. I would gladly receive any constructive criticism you have for I am eager to learn and develop as a bonsai artist.

P.S. I realize that the leaves on my amur maple look a little too big and throw off the affect of a bonsai. I'm currently waiting for summer to leaf trim it.

Thanks!

~ Drew ~
