Regarding the pine:

Quote:
I don't know where you are headed with this one but you may never see a big and bulky trunk.

I wonder, do I NEED a big and bulky trunk? I'm not exactly good at visualising, so I should probably stop being lazy and come up with a virt of some sort. Until I do that, do you (or rather, y'all in Southern colloquial) think the foliage is going to dwarf the trunk? Will a feminine image not work in this instance?

(I've no issue I'm trying to push. I understand not wanting a stick-in-a-pot. I've begun clearing my benches of those and really want quality. Am I going to look back in 3 years time and wish I'd had a bigger trunk on this one? And Graydon, in case it didn't read like it, I thank you very much for your comment. Its given me a lot to think about.)

Again, any and all input is welcomed. Even if you just want to take a shot at me.

I just finished working on this pine. Every branch except one (a candidate for removal) is wired out to the tips.
