Winter chiness elm

just thought i would put a picture of a chiness elm i have got it some 12 years ago from a mall {shop} and have put it over a rock as the roots have never been right. it's in a training pot and has been there for a couple of years. picture just to show that they can take a bit of the cold stuff it was about 25dg that day thats -4c below and it was parky

Well jhill i have left the pruning for a year as i am gaining a bit more structure to the tree will start to cut back in the spring to see what i have. the pots you see in the background are mushroom trays they are a good size for establishing root and small tree growth. we just moved in are place last year so have got no planting space in the garden as am putting planters in at the moment.
