Windswept
This is a clerodendron aculeatum that I've been working on, it has now reached the point where I'd like to post it on here for comment.

I really like it. Where did you get the rock.

Love the plant, and rock combo very realistic, somehow the pot doesn't work for me, too deep I think, and a little busy.Maybe something more primitive?

I like the rock and the positioning of the tree on the rock.
I don't like the pot at all. The composition would benefit from a pot that suggests some open space. The current pot suggests no space at all. It's hardly an inch of open space left. It would look good in a shallow oval tray, with some grasses and other accents here and there. Easy fix. Regards, Attila |

I found the rock on the beach, I had it for about a year before I collected the plant.
Mike, the pot was pretty much what I had available at the time, but I would be interested in potting suggestions/virtuals. I think that this pot is actually a little too "smooth", I think your suggestion of something more primitive might be more workable. It's due for repotting early next year so suggestions are more than welcome.
