hello larry. f
or what it's worth i've fooled around with jade a little with differing results. i have ultimately found that through a slow process of cuttings, i've made a jade forest. no pic to post of my jade forest but it is coming along nicely. imho you can wait to get lots more growth on this one before trying it then prune and plant the various cuttings to make a forest (did you plant the cuttings?). keeping my jade compact requires vigilance. i'm sure others will advise with terrific advice but i'd be inclined to lose the slinghot and use the extra for a potensai. best of luck.
