This one looks sickly to me bro. Not to be negative, but it looks like its on its way out to me.(?) If you really still have kitty litter in there, you need to get it out. Kitty litter has purfume and toxins in there that would kill any plant. As an emergency action, repot the tree with a more proper mix or drop it in the ground for a season or few. Just an idea.

A lot of that color cast comes from the background. You can see where the needles cross each other, they're green.
