Waretrop's Begonia partita
This is my one favorite bonsai. It's a 10 year old Begonia partita. It has just been trimmed back now. I keep it about this tall. The clippings are very easy to root. This Begonia is a caudiciform and is developing large irregluar bulbus areas along the branches and trunk. The ground cover is Pilea. That works very well for me. My bonsai sit in my greenhouse, around the lil pond, most of the year and they get watered almost every day. This ground cover is nice as it keeps weeds down and holds moisture in, although some call it a weed.Barb Yahoo IM waretrop
