Big Smile the Pilgrim

Hi

Now that’s a nice display, to me mud men are very interesting, I have collected several and they are here with me in my den. We have not seen one like your pilgrim, do you know what that is that he is carrying? Also the name of the plant.

Good growing

Paul

Paul, I think the object in hand is a container of some sort. I think the plant is a variety of euphorbia. If not, I welcome correction.

Mike

Beautiful planting! I really like the container. Real or artificial stone?

The "container" is made of pieces of black slate cemented together to create a planting pocket.

Could be, but I have some friends who have one of those on top of there Christmas Tree. I was hoping that it was an old oriental decoration. Kidding aside, again very nice work.

Mr. Mike,

This is the true essence of 'living art'...It evokes a very special feeling of serenity, and appreciation of nature...The words "stop and smell the roses" immediately come into my mind when viewing this composition...It serves as a reminder that in our 'fast-paced' society, we should take the time to enjoy 'life', as often as possible...

Work like this is precisely why you are among the top, on 'my personal list of true artist' in the western world...I appreciate so much your artistic vision in compositions such as this one, and your willingness to step outside the traditional box and try new things whether working with trees, stones, or landscapes...

Thank you for once again sharing your work...

Regards
Behr
