A View From A Ficus Bonsai Collection

I took this pic in this shinning and happy morning (9/11), here in Rio de Janeiro.

This looks like a little forest ? (joking...)
It is part of my Ficus collection, made by myself.

Some us will forever have a hard time seeing 9/11 as a shining, happy morning.

Unbelievable! A bonsai artist without a heart?
Murdering 3000 innocent people relates only to the North American?
What happened on the 9/11 affected all the people of the world.
Maybe except the Palestinians (who were dancing in the streets) and muniz?

Jesus, you people need to relax. Just how long does a mourning period last? We have learned to live with WWI, WWII, Vietnam, and other countless atrocities. Just because someone doesn't scream and cry about it because it is the one year anniversary doesn't mean they don't care.

Carmi, you seem to have hostility towards all Palestinians. Why don't we all throw the PC 'Your racist' talk at you?

Muniz, next time you use the date '9/11' refrain from being happy or talking about bonsai. Dwell and hate and don't move on

Anyways, great picture muniz... how many Ficus' do you have?

9-11 is a day for the ages. It has affected and will affect everyone.

We will go on.... we will not forget..... we will try and reserve our anger for only those who are deserving. Not a nation.... not a people..... but the insane... stupid.... moronic..... individuals who are ..... I'm sorry I can not continue with this line of discourse.

Carmi, Muniz, Shambhala and others...... hate is BAD.... Death to any inocent individual(s) is wrong......... Radical action in the name of anything is wrong..... and finally there is no logical explanation for illogical action.....

OK its off my chest... thank you!

Apologies to everyone

Everyone,

I'm sorry for even bringing it up. With his line about a shining and happy 9/11, Muniz was obviously trolling for the sort of angry response that I provided. I walked right into it.

The last thing I want to do on 9/11 is get into a big flame war about whether my emotional reactions are or are not justified, about who is to blame for what happened, about how long a mourning period can continue, about whether others can or cannot move on and leave this in the pages of history.

My personal opinion about any and all these things is entirely beside the point. My foolish arguing on a bonsai discussion board is so trivial and irrelevent and inappropriate that it is an affront to what took place and to the memories and emotional reactions that we all have to those tragic events.

I apologize for making this mistake, and I will not comment on the matter again here. I'd personally like to see this whole thread erased, but that may be against the editorial good sense of our moderator.

See you all tomorrow.
Old Mister
