This is a wonderful tree. I am seeing the problem though, how do you choose the front? #35299 shows the detail of the dead wood, but you can't see the living trunk of the tree. #35298 shows how the tree is still alive, but the dead wood looks rather bland from this angle. What about taking #35299 and rotating it to the right until the living wood comes into view?

Unlike Al I DON'T wish that tree was mine, I'd most likely kill it...and then there's the where's the front question...ow...my head hurts just thinking about it.

I do like Al's suggestion about showing the tree. Show a little life and a little death. Show the struggle of life...etc, etc, etc.

That is a super looking tree and in only 4 years?! Great.

Very nice Karl, I have now problem with looking at 35299 as a front!
Is there a part of life showing on the left bottom of the trunk, just above the soil? It's hard to tell from this photo's.
Anyway , well don Karl.
Regards,
Hans.
