Well, the color needs to be adjusted. The pot is actually a medium jade green, and the trunk is quite dark because it was wet. Here's a couple of photos with the tree leafing out.

It's interesting too, how much the ramification advanced last year. I wired three times I think, each time letting the branch grow so the wire cut in, then removing the wire and cutting back hard, and repeating the process.

I think I pruned too late in the year, which is why there were no flowers this year. It's my aim to see the flowers next February or March.

Have you thought about carving the area's in red a bit more, could create some nice taper. Just a thought.
