No people it doesn't lite or glowe in the dark!! I do get the world radio service once in a while But too keep a long story short ai still don't know what speciment this is. Patrick. One way to check if it is a rosemary is to give it a heavy root pruning and see if it lives If it lives, you know it is not a rosemary
. (please don't really do this)I agree with Al on this one. It does look like a rosemary.

My eyes don't see as well as they used to...and the photos don't seem to be real clear...but this looks more like a variety of 'Juniperus chinensis' to me...probably one that tends toward maintaining juvenile foliage...I would venture to guess one commonly known as 'blue tip'...If it is rosemary you can quickly tell all varieties by the aroma when the foliage is lightly squeezed...

It's not (just) your eyes. In all the closeups, the foliage is out of focus. Could be a Juniper for all I can tell. The camera is focused on the fence or the table (behind the subject)
Regards, Matt

Without even smelling it I will also bet it's not rosemary. Rosemary, lavander, thyme and all these aromatic bushes all have long thin leaves (not needles).
This tree looks much more like some species of juniper. |
