twin trunk sabamiki
up till 2 years ago i used to have an allotment.
it was quite large as allotments go, about the size of football pitch. it had a geenhouse that was 40 feet long. i grew lots of vegies on there and i also kept about 30 hens. there was also a mixture of trees that grew around the place, rowan elm ash sycamore elderbury hawthorn apple plum. then one day we received a letter from the landowners that we had a month to leave as they had sold it to property developers to build on. everything was going to be bulldozed flat. so i rescued this hawthorn, i have sat under its shade on hot days. it was about 14 or 15 foot tall originally. |
