Trip 2 Sonlight Nursery Oklahoma

When we got there Frank was ready!
And boy did I have a blast.....
And yup, I did leave a few for just in case someone else makes the drive.
I got out with my camera but did not hold on to it for long, a couple of shots and then I shared it with Frank and he had some fun pulling out some of the good stuff (think it was pre-planned, seeing as how the stand was just inside the door of greenhouse #1 along with the backdrop and tripod) so we ended up both shooting pics. I will give him the honors of walking you all thru each of the shots.
Irene

50994 Trident maple forest I put it together this spring
50997 Trident maple root over rock. A work in progress.
50995 & 50996 Water elm raft, took both pictures to see if I could decide which is the front.
50998 Water elm
50999 Japanese black pine, styled by Marco this spring.

51002 Bald cypress

That is a water elm Planera aquatica, just showing the trunk. I have it sitting on a flat rock just for effect and thought it might keep it from rotting. It is a collected tree from Louisiana. Was trying to find some that were small enough to pick up. There are smaller ones but they just don't have the character that the larger ones have. Here is a picture of it this spring.
