Trident stump

I just pruchased this trident last weekend. I can't wait to work on this tree. I've been looking for a trident like this for a few years at a good price but they are hard to find. I wired all the branches down and once they fatten up I'll shorten the branches I plan to keep. The apex needs to be redone...too straight.

I'm in love!

Great taper on that trunk...and the nebari too. Thanks for posting.

Tim...Great find, indeed...I have enclosed a photo. of a trident stump that I found last year...also, like you, I have looked for one for many years at a reasonable price. I, too, am really looking forward to working with this species. Keep us in the loop regarding your tree. It has a wonderful trunk.

Regards,
Tom
