Tree Update

Hello Everyone,

Here's an update on a small juniper. I just took off this spring's wire, carved and cleaned the deadwood and pinched the foliage. It's so tempting to rewire now, but it's best to let it rest before winter because potting comes this spring. There are a lot of possiblities with a little bit of wire....and a branch or two less...rearrange some foliage....Any ideas?

Front.

Here's a virt done by Walter this past winter. It seems I've strayed a bit, but the pot is still a winner.

Best Regards,

David

Bring the right branch down so the triangle isn't so even. If you do that this will be a great tree.

Walter virtual is excellent. You aren't that far off it and I like what you have achieved. Give it a rest until spring repotting sounds good to me.

Thumbs up

Nice Job with this one David.
I have done a quick virtual. I've tilted the tree slightly to the left and tinkered with the foliage and pot. Looking forward to seeing this one after you have repotted it in the Spring.

This tree started as a leggy five gallon nursery shrub. It was pruned and carved in Sept '01. This is the first styling attempt in Feb '02. Taking progress photos sure is educational :-)

Best Regards,

David
