Keep the Mulberry and you can make your own silk, if you can get the worms to come and live on it.

They eat mulberry leaves!

I think Gary has it pegged as a mullberry. They are kind of confusing to ID because the leaves can grow with a single point or with two lobes or three lobes. All on the same tree even.
