I've been offliner for several days.. Matt,!! You are so clever with your computer skills!! I can't compete with this!!--but I certainly agree! I was going to work with the actual posted picture (but have been sidetracked with the American Thanksgiving holiday)- not a fantasy proposition of some imagined yamodori trunk! This is a rather young tree- I don't see a lot of options unless one goes into fantasy! I'll see what I can do. Later.Maybe tonight!

Posts: 33	Re: Thuja - request for Christine Ok, I have a virtual for Hajo to think about. I tried to keep my design within the realm of plausibility for this tree. Since it is rather young, I reduced the top to a jin, tilted the whole tree, used a side branch as a new top, and removed all the lower branches, to make a mame out of it. It needs a smaller pot now--anyone?

Hi, Matt:

Yes, you're seeing different trees. The image was posted not as a virtual, but as an example of Eastern white cedar bonsai, especially as it relates to foliage containment. However, as virtuals go, it would not have been much further fetched than some. ;-)
