Wink Tanuki black pine

Hi all, something special today, a pine as Tanuki. The pine tribe is Tanukiwood of a black pine, and the living pine is a young black pine.

That's a real gem! It's one of the more convincing tanuki's that I've seen. It looks like it's going to be a very beautiful tree!!!

Thank you for sharing something so unusual!

Cheers,
Jim

Karl,

Well done...the carving detail is beautiful. The effort and time you put into this shows. It looks great.

Please keep us up to speed as to its progress.

Best of luck with it.

Hi Karl,

Excellent Tanuki, excellently done. Can you share the details of how you created this (with pics if you have them). I think this would be a great help to other people trying to do the same thing.

Cheers
Ian
