Taiwan Bonsai Creators Exhibition

Just wanted to post this link to Cheng Cheng-Kung's site, which has pictures of the Taiwan Bonsai Creators Exhibitions from 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Absolutely stunning trees and great photography, (Kokufu album quality) but probably a (very) long wait without high speed access.

Brilliant link, John. Thank you!

They're all beautiful, but I was particularly taken by the leafless deciduous trees, and this zelkova in particular: http://sidiao.myweb.hinet.net/2004htm/p35.htm

Definitely not "yet another zelkova broom".

John,

Great find !

I had to do a double take on this windswept. Perhaps not the best of trunks, but the effect of the branches makes it look like the picture has been str..e..ch...ed !

http://sidiao.myweb.hinet.net/2002htm/p34.htm

An absolutely amazing collection of advanced material.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Best wishes,
Ian.

I had the same impression of a couple of trees Lo Min Hsuan previously posted on IBC. The breadth of the ramification was almost unbelievable! He was also one of the demonstrators shown on this site.
