Sumo silverberry trimmed

My sumo silverberry was in need of a trim. After making it neater appearing, I did a portrait.
The first picture is from last August after a major defoliation.
Height from pot rim is about 20 inches. Circumference of base is about 34 inches.

I've always liked this one Mike. The base is rather absract, very different!

Yes, a very interesting tree. I agree on the abstract point made by newt about the base. Very nice sumo bonsai!

I've been taking a class and am starting to look at bonsai with a new eye and your silverberry is a wow tree! I see lines and shapes in it that give it a feminine appearance! Is this the final pot or do you have future plans for a different one?
