I repotted this little guy today. Overall height including the pot is about 6 inches.

Pootsie, I bought this pot about 10 years ago from a bonsai dealer in Sacramento. Although it's small, it was quite expensive, as it's a Tokonoma signature. The finish on it is very fine, and it's one of those pots that feels good to the touch. As luck would have it, I was planting a bonsai in it, and dropped the pot. Broke into 3 main pieces and some smaller ones. Too expensive to toss, so I bought some marine epoxy, and carefully glued it together. You can tell from the back, one side and the bottom that it's been repaired. You would never know from the front.
It sat on the shelf for years until today When I decided to use it. I guess I was saving it just for this tree. BTW, I was very careful!!
