Sumo Boxwood

I've been doing some cleanup trimming and topdressing on this box today.
The height from pot rim is 15 inches and the trunk is about 19 inches around the base.

Nice looking tree, here's my 2 cents. With the movement being a little toward the right, I think it might look a little more balanced if there was more foliage mass on the right side of the canopy and less on the left.

Bob, you are correct. It's been a long time to get the foliage mass to where it is, and I'm working on extending the right side to something similiar to the virtual. Again, the 4th, and most important dimension of bonsai, TIME.

Wink

Well doen, tough plant, so slow in putting foliage on. Thnk, in 25 or 30 years it will haev all of the foliage that you need . Really nice, the attention to detail is truly apparent. John

Hi Mike,

This is a wonderful tree which will look sensational when you have got foliage how you want it in the virtual. You trully are a credit to your art.

All the best,

Aaron

Dale,I haven't seen where it says that "thou shalt not covet thy neighbors bonsai".
