Suggestions for future styling of Spruce appreciated

This spruce was collected in North Daykota about 5 years ago, it has recently begun backbudding on old wood and I am beginning to think about the future of the tree. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. And yes, I realize it still has a long ways to go...

Rain down the fires of hell on his head for incorrect picture angles!

Will,

An idea. Not difficult to do. A nice Euro-tree for your collection:

Oh yeah, the picture angles are incorrect. I didn't even notice - I was so busy trying not to get upset at out-of-focus shots of buds (or caterpillars, or scale, or something, I couldn't really tell) and trying to make virtuals for trees shot with a @!#$%@#$ wood fence behind them.

LMAO!

After all the times I have been raked over the coals for pictures, you'd almost think I did this on purpose just so Carl would have something to say...lol.

Thanks for the suggestions, both so far are very interesting. Fish, a Euro tree, huh?

Hi Will,
Just another idea for your tree. I would consider only using the first branch and styling literati style. Not sure how the foliage would look but here is my attempt.

Will,
If by any chance that branch is flexable enough, I have seen european bonsaiast perform this kind of work. It's interesting to me.
