Thomas,
I think Tony has a point. I thought that leaf color variation within a specific speices was dependant on mineral content in the soil and sugar content in the leaves. I only have three elms, but here in southern california I am lucky to get any color at all. Mine just sort of slow down and flower a lot in the winter. Andy |
