Really nice JBP John. From the beginning of the post, I really like # 51375, and I agree with Mom about an article on care, training, etc. Larry

Thought I would post a few more pics of the little Shohin pine, right, left and back. Again, final branch placement and needle trim will occur at teh start of the show. The tree has also been mossed, but I'll get pics of that at the BIB show in two weeks.

I received the "show portrait" of the shohin JBP that was the "member's choice" shohin at the BIB Show this year (200. Sam Edge from BIB is a true artist with photography (and Bonsai), he took this picture as part of the documentation process for the show.

How tall is this tree? 8".

Cheers,
John

Wow! Too bad JBP are no good for smaller sized bonsai because they have long internodes and leaves!

Seriously, beautiful work. Congratulations!

Yeah,
Really good work. I especially like the bark and the nebari on this little tree. The pot doesn't really do it for me, but it's probably just a matter of taste.

Thomas,
The pot is Japanese, antique, old clay. The color is different, I was not sure about it, when you see it in person, it really works- and it isn't too big. But i understand the difference in taste.
