I do think you were a little too offensive to the others. I don't say they're right and you're wrong, nor am I saying that you shouldn't be offended by the things they said. I'm just saying that if you hadn't taken the comments so personally, this would probably be just a normal "beginner comment" -thread.

As to the tree, the lantana, I'd go for a han-kengai pot like Al's.
I liked Clay's sketches and suggestions too, but if you're wishing it to be a "classic" bonsai, you should look for a pot the kind of the one in Al's virt.
