This box has a nice oak shape to it due in great part to that branch on the left side. If it were removed it would resemble more of a broom style... there are enough of those already.

hey peter;

i would love to see this tree in person to give you my advise,maybe if you can give us more up close photo's from all around even a birds eye veiw.

from what i can see at the moment i would go with cutting the hole branch right back to suit the right hand side,thats just me you must do what you desire.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!!!!!

here are pics of all sides and top. These shots had to be taken in its position in the garden, because of its size. So these shots are a bit ordinary.

I thank you for your advice. Because it has taken 6.5 years to grow that side out I will probably rewire ,rearrange the left and I may take your advice in the near future.I will post again. yes I am a member of a local club. The tree is a two man lift and it makes it hard to tranport. This is 1 of many long term projects that will never leave the back yard.
