Halloween Pumpkin small shimpaku juniper

this is a shimpaku juniper that i purchased at bonsai-a-thon and measures around 5''. i paid 18$ for this tree which i think is way to over priced but i bought it anyway because i liked the trunk so much. the only problem is that this tree is not sturdy in its pot because it is from a cutting and the roots are not solid yet. i think that the tree has a root system that is not safe enough to work with. i just need to know some tips or a time line on how i could fix this problem or any other opinion as well.

Gday theelmboy!

That certainly looks like the decent beginnings of a nice trunk, but I'm no expert on Junipers. Unfortunately, there is a small branch which really obscures the view of the trunk. I'd like to see a clear view of the trunk and roots before reckoning whether or not you paid too much for your tree.

Thanks.

Fly.
