Slight Juniper Restyle
This is a juniper I've been working on for a while. Originally styled from nursery stock over a year ago. The first photo is how it looked after the first repotting. I finally got arount to taking a picture of how it looks today in it's new pot. I don't have any raffia but lots and lots of wire works. Originally, the trunk was almost straight with a slight bend. Little by little I've been bending it more and more. I was never crazy about the way it looked in the rectangle pot so after some searching I found a handmade pot that I think works much better. I'd appreciate any feedback or comments. Thanks.

Yes sir.. That sure is lots and lots of wire! I do think the pot you have chosen is an improvement over the original rectangle pot. The only suggestion I would have is to put some movement into the lower trunk, the rest of the tree has some nice bends but start rather abruptly. I don't know how thick this trunk is, but it may still be possible. Just my .02 Adam |

Vast improvement indeed.
My one criticism would be that the foliage seems kinda flat. It's hard to tell in 2-D pix, but it looks like your design might be 2-D itself. Back branches and branches moving forward would add depth. I like the combo of new design & new pot. Keep up the good work! pootsie |

The restyle looks a hell of a lot better and the pot compliments the Bunjin-esque style of the tree, well done. I support you in your wiring too, wire is so imperative to get the shape that you need in coniferous trees.
