Silver Birch In Training As Broom

Second year as bonsai(same age as my literati mame one)
branches trimmed and tied upright.
Photographed indoors for clarity.
Needs a repot but we hope to be moving to a house soon!

i tried to go for informal upright but couldnt get the trunk to bend so went for broom instead

leaves were quite big then but now they look smaller, and the stem has thickened quite a lot!
