Shohin Virtual Challenge

Here is a potential small elm that can be shaped in a few ways...I already have a slanting one that I want to copy...but I was wondering if anyone has spare time to make a few virtuals...I want to see how creative pros are with material like his.

I was thinking of chopping up to that branch and make a small slanting tree after wiring it a bit.

Greggles, you crack me up*.
Just do what you described and let that baby grow. A virtual at this time would be just fantasy.

But I like your enthusiaum !! Your on fire dude!

I really like your sense of humor, Greggles (I am not being sarcastic, it was really funny even though you may not have realized it).

The potential of this tree is unlimited.

But first I would remove that wire, cut the trunk a couple of inches above the first (and only) branch, and let it grow for half a decade (don't forget to prune it every year to stimulate new growth).

Then, it's worth to try a virtual on it.

Attila

Greggles, I'm glad you have a sense of humor. I think it needs some time in the ground or box too. There is just not much there to work with yet. Some chops are in order to add interest to the trunk. Good luck, al

yea! hahah..starting out in bonsai kinda makes me think...gee...this hobby...it's not for the impatient!! I think I best not spend too much detail on one tree and just let them all grow!
