Great tree!!! The last pic is great. I am very fond of shimpaku. I have a couple of smaller less mature shimpakus in grow boxes. One of them has similar trunk movement. It is no where near as mature as yours. Your tree gives me some ideas and a future for the tree. Thanks Andy |

Love the tree Thomas. One thing that I miss in the final picture on here. The first picture showed some incredible roots. They weren't big but they were one of the things I loved about the tree! They looked like hands holding on for dear life.
I don't know if there's a way to show them off or not, but if there is... |

Sorry but those roots are gone. They were just some dead roots that fell off when I transplanted the tree into the new pot. They did make for an interesting pic though didn't they? Thomas J. |
