Serissa Going In Right Direction?

I purchased this Serissa about 2 years ago, and decided to let it grow in a large pot for a few more years to develop a thicker trunk. I am trying to make the tree into a Semi-Cascade style and was wondering if this is a good candidate.

Thank you for any suggestions.

On first glance I see informal upright if you change the potting angle. I don't really see semi cascade. I think you have nice movement in the trunk and some of the lower branches are already in right place.

Just my opinion.

How would you go about styling my Serissa to a informal upright besides the slant of the trunk when repotting. This may be a stupid question and I apolagize, however, I am fairly new in the wonderful world of bonsai and would appreciate any tips.

Thanks,

tilt it 'bout 70 degrees to the right.. there is a tree in there somewhere
if you still plan to grow it on leave the lower branches as sacrifice branches. they will help to thicken the trunk. Serissa's handle
severe prunning. At another angle (viewing) might see another tree. enjoy...!!!

Sorry it has taken me this long to get back to you with regards to the styling of your tree. This is a virtual I did and tried to use the existing branches you have. I am assumming that you can wire these branches into place.

Good luck. I think you really have the basic skelton there to achieve this design. Keep the top in check and don't let it get away from you.
