Seiju Elm -my new addition to the collection

Hi every one i bought a new seiju elm from ray nesci bonsai nursery and thought ide share some pics-its my biggest tree so far and also the most ive paid for a tree. I havent made any decisions with the style or the shape as yet so any opionions, comment or suggestions are welcome.Im planning on taking it to my clubs workshop meeting next month ,so wont do any drastic pruning till then.

Simon done well, but its reasonably hard to go wrong with rays trees, he has such a good range of nearly anything you could imagine, i hopefully will be going down in a couple of weeks. did you look through his personal collection? i like the way he has the same type of tree styled in 3 different ways. have you seen him styling new stock he has the eye to see the final result so clearly. congrats i cant wait to see what you do with her. Tim.

Very impressive stock Simon lots of choices for you here. Ray has a great reputation in Australia which is why he has been here for all this time. You are gonna have a ball with this fine specimen. Keep us posted on it's progress mate

Nice solid construction, should last for a long time. What type of paint did you use on that Simon?
