I'll refer to the jin/stub b/t 2 & 3 as 2½.

Is it possible to create more separation between 2½ & 3, leaving 2 complimentary/parallel/possibly redundant jins?

WF

Some of the cultivars do not back bud as well as the species. I have a Bouvronensis that does not back bud well at all.

Hi Brian,

I hope you dont mint, but may i make a sugestion, you could allso deside to take away enough off of the deadwood to create a better taper. If offcorse the liveline permits this?It is hard to tell from the pic. I have don someting simular on one of my one trees and it worked very well.
Regards,
Hans van Meer.

Dear Brian

As we talked about Your pine the idea of the shari on to the base
could not get out of my head.
The deadwood I think a bit hollow but keep the movement in it.
Horizontal and vertical lines < branch and yins.
One big strong diagonal with speed going through !
The callus grows in smooth lines which are the same as the
bendings of the branches.
Kind regards
Morea

Morea,
Beautiful work, and nice future for the tree.

Morea, Vev,

Those are wonderful images for this tree. I hope I can produce a tree that comes close to either of those. Thanks so much.

Great artwork you guys! And good for us to have people so willing to spend their time to offer someone (an equally good person) their visions of a tree. We are truelly blessed,...I can't say that enough. Love and trees.
