It's already been brought down a bit (hence the guy wire) and the base is too thick to bend further I think. I could achieve the same effect by introducing a sharp downward bend further along the branch - and that might frame a nice negative space too. Will give that some thought, thanks. EDIT: just realised - you're right. The foliage starts too high up the tree, assuming the apex is not much higher than it currently is. Bringing the branch further down will help that.
