BigBri nice pick up at that price. My preference would be a more upright tree as in #43233 because of the trunk line, which has good movement. I see quite a few jins leading me up the trunk to the foliage. Gotta love those junipers.

Looks like a really nice tree, and I'm really partial to cascades with junipers. Good luck, and let me know if you can help me with the one I'm trying; it's completely brown!!

If its compleatly brown its compleatly dead and probably has been dead for a while. It wont be able to be brought back because they dont show signs of dieing until they are dead

Interesting. I'm headed there after thanksgiving.

I think you've done about as much as you should do to it this season. I'd consider the use of guy wire to make the cascade a little more ...severe, but a planting angle shift might accomplish the same. Judicious application of wire to position the foliage (after a light thinning) would really help bring out the form/image.

"it's completely brown!!"

Then it's completely dead.

Junipers can't live without any green foliage. If all the foliage is brown (or crispy olive drab colored) it's an ex-juniper.
