bonsaiTALK Hint: Did you know you can double click any bonsai term on this page for its definition?

S. arboricola progress report

I posted this tree just after working it down from old nursery stock this past summer...I am pleased with its progress and hope I can keep it prosperous during our upcoming winter.

This is how it appears now...current dimensions are 23 inches in height and 35 inches in width.

Regards,
Tom Simonyi

Hi Tom, been a long time since I posted much. Glad to see you are still active with bonsai.
I love these arbs, have several that I'm playing with. The Bonsaimon has been coaching me on them. He has some that are fantastic.
This one has a lot of promise & is nice now.

Hi, Bob: Great to hear from you as well...and that you are o.k. It has been a long time since you have been on the forums. Also glad to hear you are working on arbs. I really enjoy working with the species. Lastly, thanks for the kind words about this tree. I was excited when our University greenhouse (WVU) decided to get rid of a lot of their older stock...

Continued regards,
Tom
