root over rock holly and repositioned rhode

A few pics of a dwarf japanese holly i noticed at the local nursery that already had exposed roots. and my little rhododendron i repositioned for a better nebari. It looks a little sparse on one side from this angle but i dont mind waiting a while to grow it out. i dont know if all the branches merging from that one point on the holly is any good... hmm

I like the way your little trees look, but I would do some serious pruning in the spring to encourage budding back particularly on the little rhodo. Right now it sort of reminds me of an umbrella (long bare spokes and everything at the top). Nice starts though.
