Rocky Mountain Juniper Semi-Cascade

Here are some pics from the first styling of a collected RMJ that I purchased last year from Larry Jackel in Aurora Colorado. It was collected in the fall of 2001 and spent the last 41/2 years adaping to life in 1.5 gallon nursery container. All the tree needed was a "jig" to hold it, some rebar and a collaborative effort with Marco Invernizzi and Charley Sisk from Arvada (I had the tree turned over....) . It actually now has a serious bend towads the viewer. Enjoy. John

John,
Now this one I really like. Why don't you bring stuff like this over for me to watch?

John:

Wow! What a nice tree. I love the aggressive dagger shape to the canopy. It gives this tree a very unique look!

I love it!!

Thanks for sharing,

Matt

That's a great junipers, I'm sure it was great having Marco around to bounce ideas off too.

Thanks for sharing the pics

Soonami,
Thanks. Marco was a real pleasure to have in for the week. He has a tremendous eye, this was one of the last trees worked on, the line fell together well. He works very, very well with others and is a real hands on teacher. I know Charley, my wife and myself learned a heck of a lot from him- we were able to do bonsai from 8AM to 8 or 8:30 PM for a week. John
