Rocky Mountain Juniper #2

this tree is more than 1000 years old. trunk base more than 20 inches wide!!
this was the first picture

after some cleanup and a bit of guy wiring the tree is now waiting until next year ton be styled. Let's see what we can do with virtuals in the meantime.

But i think, the juniper is standing wrong; the tree would stand better in my bonsai garden in upper austria ...... ;-)

I haven't quite worked out the virtual yet, but I am seeing a slant style tree, not an informal upright.

can you put a soda can in the pic or you standing next to it to give something to show how big it is? man that is a piece of history walter! if trees could talk.

Have a look at the date of the original post, it dated Nov 2001 ! I didn't noticed the date at first when I sumitted my virtual for the other RMJ. I guess both of them have been styled in the meantime. I would be nice if Walter could put an recent picture of both of them.
