Robusta Green Juniper-comments and virtuals?
I've had this Juniperus chinensis "Robusta Green" sitting in this pot for about 8 years without repotting.
I bought it for a landscape job about 15 years ago and planted it out in my garden. I snapped a photo while i was taking pictures for the show. It's 40"-101.6 cm tall. Originally the jin on top was the top of the tree. It's a heavy one. I'm thinking of still repotting it this Spring, it needs some breathing room. It needs a pruning and wiring real bad. ![]()

Re: Robusta Green Juniper-comments and virtuals?
Hi GaryS,
I'd love to make a virtual of your tree, but it's a bit hard to see what foliage belongs to what tree. Could you make a picture with a solid background ? As far as I can see now your tree only needs a bit thinning. Great material ! rgds, René |

René,
I'll try and get a better pic up with a solid backround. I'll stick something behind it. It's a 2 man bonsai, it used to be a one man bonsai but I got older! The darn thing is too heavy for me to lift now.The older I get the more I think of the word small bonsai!
