The Tree!

Now that THAT’S out of the way (My sincere apologies for wasting a Bonsai Forum for such nonsense)

The Yew is doing very good and has some good amount of new growth;

With spring it was easier to follow up on what is to stay and what not. And basically what lays a third towards the roots is not doing well at all.

I have selected the branches in the best state and being assured they were aged enough to sort of merge as would an old yew in the wild, I binded them together;

The tree is layered above the thick trunk in order to hopefuly separate it next year (I have not severed it to enforce rooting. It is jut a pot of soil hanging there). This sort of helps keep the healthier parts away from both the soft tissues and the rot in the lower trunk.

Actually
The bandages are going to be possibly removed the first chance I get. While photographing I noticed buds from under the bonds and I would rather encourage it.

I really do not plan on continuing with anything on this thread concerning ethics and/or politics.
You shall how ever; get to see how the taxus develops.

Til next;

Black
