A review of my Ficus
Hello Everyone!
I am John and have reviewed this site but never input any information before. I was trying to get my ficus picture onto this site but was only able to get it into my gallery. The picture is very poor quality but I was still hoping I could get some advice on it. The leaves are gone but it is starting to bud out again and this way I can see its form better. Beside comments can anyone give me some advice about getting it out of my gallery and onto this note. Any advice will be appreciated! |

Hi John
Photos are best saved as ".jpeg", and compressed with photo editing software to a maximum size of 800 x 800 pixels and a maximum file size of 75kb. Save these in an easy to locate folder on your desktop, then decide which section of the site is best to locate your post and accompanying photographs. At the lower left of each thread you will see "post reply"..... or if you wish to start a new topic, at the top and bottom of each specific forum is the link "start thread". The dialogue box will then open and you will be able to add your text to requirements. To upload the photographs, our member Treebeard has a great tutorial located here . . . Hope that helps, but if you have any further problems, just ask. You can use the forum area "TEST AREA 51" to post pictures so that you can see how they look before putting them in a regular thread. You can also pm any moderator for help, we're always glad to be of service! (the above information is available thanks to Ian and Treebeard) Joanie

Hi John - Welcome
I moved your post here to show and tell. We try to avoid having conversations in the Introductions thread because it would rapidly dilute the intent of the intro page. Regards, Matt P.S. - I copied your Gallery's ficus photo to my computer's hard drive and attached it here, no problem. Please let us know what your specific difficulty is and what error messages you might be receiving.
