The wire is in perfect size for this tree and I do not use any kind of bend, I do not need it.

I'd have to agree. I think the tree could benefit from some lateral movement in the trunk.

Matt

Question

Here are my own comment and questions, about the job your doing on that juniper cascade.

I'm curious as to why you using such heavy wire on a branch that is so small? No big deal, I'm just curious. The wire looks very thick for a branch that size.

In both a typical full cascade and semi cascade the trunk movement is usually upward with an abrubt downward movement. There doesn't seem to be any vertical movement on this tree nor is there any movement in the lower cascading part of the tree either, which is fine if that's your intention.

My last question is why did you leave such large spaces between the branches on the cascade in this initial styling?

Wink

Gary,

First of all, it is the first transplantation of this tree and then it is not my wish to produce in a first instance a perfect tree.
In relation to the wires, the trunk was very hard to make movements, then I opted to a more robust wire, although it is very soft.
Concerning the movement of the trunk, in a second transplantation it will be worked in this sense.
Finally, the space between the branches are due to the future grow of the tree, I hope that this small branches grow and it needs an apropriated space.
